Vmgo.com is a new search engine that tracks clicks on the results in its index and ranking results by popularity. Giving you the most popular results first. This is a very good algorythm because it always gives you what you are really looking for or what others are really looking for.

My name is Scott Mandarich and I am the one who built vmgo.com. I have worked on Vmgo.com for a couple of years now and have finally finished it. This blog is where I will be talking alot about it and other search engines I have been studying over the years.

I have been a webmaster for 8 years now and I have been studying google and other engines all that time. I know how search engines work and I know their flaws. I have taken those flaws and used them to build a search engine that gets rid of those flaws and makes a better search engine with very accurate results every time.

This is an amazingly complex subject that has many many answers but I am going to list a few things that I have tested over the years.

Duplicate Content

This seems like a no brainer but people do it alot. I personally have copied free reprintable articles and posted them on my site and ultimately got banned. At the time I couldn't understand why my site got banned for doing it but the 50-100 other sites with the same exact article was on their sites and they were ranking fine? So I got to checking those sites out and found that they had alot of unique content on their pages that made their article look alot different from the other websites with the same exact articles.

So I found that there is a duplicate content filter that calculates the percentage of the pages on the web for duplicate content. So make your content at least 25%-50% unique. I suggest rewriting articles in your own words so that it is completely unique and you will do good all the time.

This also goes for affiliate products and content. Don't just copy and paste products to your site. Take a little time and write your own description for the products you put on your sites. It will pay off big for you in the long run when all the other affiliate sites are banned or ranking poorly and yours is not.

Too Many Keywords

Another problem I had with a website I built was using the main keyword of the page too many times. If my page was about "Gifts" I had links to pages about "Baby Gifts" and "Gifts for Him" "Gifts for Her" ...... I don't want my blog to get banned so I hope you get the point. But I had the keyword "Gifts" over and over in almost every link on the page. Well that is a Red Flag NO NO! My site got instantly banned.

I did find a way around this problem by simply taking the main keyword out of every link and only linking with "For Him" and "For Her" etc... I also made sure I wasn't using my main keyword too much on the page text too. I use a 2-4% keyword density.

Using Automated Queries to Google

One time I found a free script that I reverse engeneered to automatically grab Google's Daily Top 100 Query List. This got my site banned completely within about a week. That little screw up got my site an actual visit from a google employee! I know because I seen them visit my site when I was looking at my live visitor stats. A day later the site completely disappeared from the google results.

That one taught me a lesson! Google is not joking around when they say "Don't use automated queries to google". I also believe that doing too many "site:yoursite.com" queries will get you banned too but I can't back that one up by facts.

Deleting Pages

One time I deleted about 15 useless pages from a site of mine and a week later my rankings tanked for about 2 months in google which wasn't a complete ban but google must have gotten confused and didn't know what to do? I cannot prove that my site tanked because I deleted those pages but it definately made me think that.

Creating Too Many Pages Too Fast

I like to do things the easy way and I am sure there are millions just like me. So I created a script that automatically created thousands of pages instantly pulling different content from various affiliate programs like amazon.com and others. The site was brand new and I traded a few links and had an instant new mega site that I didn't have to do anything to. Google happily spidered the entire site and within a week I was seeing traffic coming to it and I was making money!After about a month it was banned completely! I couldn't figure it out at first but then I figured it out. Too many pages too fast is a NoNo!

I eventually figured out how to automatically build the mega site slowly so google would not ban it. The answer was to put noindex,nofollow metatags on the newly created pages so that when google spiders the new pages that have never been crawled or visited googlebot would see the noindex,nofollow meta tag and stop spidering at that page making the site look like it doesn't have much content yet. Then the next time googlebot spidered the page it would have the index,follow meta tag making it look like the site has grown a little sinse the last visit.

So be very careful when you build huge mega affiliate sites using automated scripts. If you build it they will come! But it you build it too fast you're banned.

Buying Links On High Page Rank Sites

I still can't believe that google bans sites for buying links on other sites because I think links are what makes the web go round. But I did have a website that was about 2 years old and ranking well and doing fine. Then one day I found a site selling links from a PR6 page for $20 for one year! I couldn't pass it up! I had to have it! Within a month that site was completely banned from google.

Unbelieveable Google! Seriously? What is so wrong with buying links? If I can afford to buy a link for a site then that link should be worth more to google than a link that I traded with a site? If I think a site is good enough to actually pay someone to link to it then that link should be worth a vote for my site? Am I right people?

I think we should support a new up and coming search engine like Vmgo.com Search Engine. It is a really awesome search engine! It is smart and fast and has video results and actually learns from you when you search. It is webmaster friendly too!

Everywhere I go on the internet I see athiests trying to convince people that God doesn't exist? If you athiests don't believe in God then why do you spend your time trying to prove He don't exist?

Athiests take little snippets from the Bible and try to prove that the Bible is contradicting itself when it really isn't at all if you read the whole thing intelligently.

The Bible has 3 dimensions to it and must be read 3 diminsionally with your mind, body and spirit. It is designed by God to help us in every aspect of our life.

It helps us to renew our minds to think about loving and caring for people, feeding the poor, helping the helpless, healing the sick wether by praying for them or by taking them to the doctor or by miraculous intervention by God in extreme cases. I have seen many people get healed miraculously by God because people were praying for them and they believed God would heal them.

The Bible gives us instructions on how to treat our bodies to make us live longer and be healthier and happier. The Old Testament is an excellent resource on diet with a long list of foods to eat and not to eat that the Jews lived by and alot still do. It is amazing to read about the foods they were allowed to eat and not eat which are still practiced in the US and all over the world inadvertantly by people who never even read the Bible.

For instance, in the Bible, God told the Jews to not eat any animal unless it:

1. Chews it's cud
and
2. Has Cloven Hooves

Well cows chew their cud and have cloven hooves so they are ok. Whereas horses chew their cud but do not have cloven hooves. In the US we do not eat horses. It's not because horses taste bad (I hear they taste like bacon) and it's not because they are bad for us to eat if cooked well. It's because of the fact that it is socially unacceptable because our society has been impacted by the Bible. The Bible in the New Testament says all things have been made clean to eat as long as we pray and thank God for it before we eat or drink it because of what Jesus has done for us. Because of what Jesus did, all things have been made clean to eat.

God also told the Jews not to eat anything out of the sea unless it had scales on it. This was a very good thing for the Jews to live by back then because of the risk of diseases. If you think about it a while, most of the animals in the ocean that do not have scales are pretty nasty scavengers that eat dead stuff that they find floating around the ocean. Crabs, lobsters, shrimp etc... are all examples of scavengers that may cary some bad diseases from eating on dead things.

Dolfins and whales do not have scales and were not to be eaten which was God's way of protecting endangered species? I mean, we know how many whales became endangered when people started hunting and killing them.

Sharks do not have scales either and they are not bad to eat but they could cary diseases and parasites which God was trying to protect the Jews from in the Old Testament.

I could go on and on about how God was protecting the Jews from eating things that could possibly give them diseases like pork which we all know has parasites and needs to be cooked well to kill them before we eat it.

God simply loved the Jews and wanted them to be healthy and happy.

But back to athiests, Why do athiests build huge websites and spend lots of money trying to convince people that God is not real? Are they looking for purpose in life? Deep down inside do they really want to be proved wrong?

I do know from personal experience that without God in my life, I felt empty and was always looking for something to occupy my mind. I was always working to fill my life with big boy toys to impress my friends and family and that was great until the rush wore off and I found myself empty again and looking for that next thing that would fill that emptiness with popularity again.

God was never trying to hurt anyone, if you read the Bible, you will see that God only wanted to protect and help people and bring them close to Himself but they because of their selfishness (sin) could not see that God loved them.

I watched a video that was made by athiests that stated that god commanded the Isrealites to kill every man, woman and child in the villages that they came to. Which is true but God had reasons for that. For one, if they did not then those children would have probably grown up and been very bitter toward the Jews and became the equivalent to a suicide bomber today! The women would have hated the Jews and tried everything in their power to rebel if they were allowed to live. So God knew what he was doing when he told them to kill everyone.

Plus, I don't know if people realize it or not but God owns us. He created us and he can do whatever he wants to us. Also, even though those peoples physical bodies died, nobody ever really dies. Our spirits will live forever wether in Heaven because we recieved Jesus Christ as our Savior or in the Lake of Fire that burns forever because we rejected Christ who died for us because he Loved God and us so much.

Our Spirits will live on forever. Watch "Ghost Hunters" and you will realize that is true. If you do watch Ghost Hunters you may notice that the ghosts they do find were usually bad people when they were alive. Murders and Rapists and evil wicked people when they were alive. They were people who never believed in God and/or rejected Jesus as their Savior. Watch all their episodes and remember what I said here and try to prove me wrong. Ghosts are simply people who died without recieving Jesus Christ as their savior. Occasionally they will find a demon too which they have a person (exorcist) who will come and pray and bless the house driving the demon out. Demons are not human spirits. I have theories on what demons are but I'll get into that some other time.

I believe those people are stuck here on earth as spiritual energy waiting for God to Judge them on Judgement Day. The ones who do get saved by humbling their selves and accepting Christ as the sacrifice for their sin (selfishness) instantly go straight to heaven. The Bible says "Absent from the body, Present with the Lord". That is why you will never see the "Ghost Hunters" getting E.V.P.'s from people like Mother Teresa.
